Whilst Hag probably needs fucking off, lets be honest here:

Martinez is a cult hero and loves kicking people, but can’t defend
Casemiro is done
Rashford looks totally done
Amad and Garnacho MIGHT develop but right now they’re at about Januzaj and Macheda levels
Mainoo has huge potential but should be starting about half the games he is
Zirkzee - not sure all

Casemiro, utterly fucking done.

Ah bollocks to it. I’m off for a curry.

Ruud will be in charge before Xmas.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he was in charge by the end of the week.

In this 2 min vid Slot details Hags change of approach this season, and how to stop it.

He's been found out 3 games into the season.

Have to say, I agree with pretty much all of that.

I reckon Garnacho is a bit further than Januzaj/Macheda but Amad certainly isn’t.

I do think we need to temper the expectations a bit with Zirkzee. He was an opportunistic squad buy - Hojlund will be first choice when fit I reckon. With a little time to settle, Zirkzee could be alright as a second choice. We’re a mid table side I’m afraid so he’s about right for our level.

Surely Hag has to go with Ugarit/Collyer now and bench Casemiro. I don’t even think that would fix us, just make it a little bit better.

I think someone looked at Zirkzee‘s physique and thought ‘oh look, another Haarland’…
He’s not.

Bad enough getting beat 3-0 at home by Liverpool, but so soon into Slots debut season, the result will just help boost their whole season, and help the players buy into his vision.

Had we shown some bollocks/backbone, and got a result, it could have derailed their season, at least for a little bit.

If Ugarte is still isolated when the fullbacks push up, we're fucked, teams break us on easily.

And the problem with Ugarte is that he's a ball winner. A high energy, Kante type. He'll help our press and we'll be better at winning the ball higher up, but he won't help us playing out from the back.

Which in itself is a problem since winning the ball higher up will only be of use if we didn't have such an impotent attack

You’re both right. We’ve seen it all before. McFred at their best or Casemiro when he first joined. Win the ball, give it to Bruno, create a chance.

First two steps work but without purple patch Rashford, Cavani, Ronaldo or Greenwood, it’s asking a lot as a Plan A.
