No one is saying Lindelof is class.
But he's done well in the last 2 games against weak opposition. At least he's done enough to deserve chances. It's not like he's competing with Rio or Vidic.

Have a read of this on Skysports - https://www.skysports.com/football/news ... s-explored

"Liverpool also pursued Virgil van Dijk, a transfer they finally completed in January. According to Charlie Austin, Van Dijk's Southampton team-mate, the Dutchman had been a target for United. He told Austin: "It was between me and Lindelof, and they signed Lindelof."

Staggering how inept the transfer decisions are.....

I’m sure they didn’t dig VVD because of the cost. Then after a season or two when the conventional wisdom was that VVD transformed Liverpool, the club decided it was ok to spend £80m on a CB. But of course they didn’t understand that not every CB was suddenly worth £80m, and they ended up with Maguire.

I hope we are all, to a man, spending time reflecting upon the glittering United career of this club legend now his contract has finally expired.

I think what Dozer is trying to say is that he knew everything all along and that everyone else has no idea. What he knows and what everyone else knows changes between posts. - Felwin 31/10/2024

Somewhere out there there's a turd-polishing YouTube video of his highlights with dramatic music.
