Welcome to Manchester United the business that plays a bit of football on the side.
I thought the sponsors didn't want anything to do with him so his value dropped. There are reports Saudi didn't want anything to do with him because he would tarnish their reputation lol in which case he's basically worthless.

But I guess that's wrong. If he's still a good / great player, he'll bang in the goals, that will dominate the headlines, the abuse will be history and he'll be worth a few quid.

I wouldn't even rule him out re-joining United, especially given how short we are up front. Maybe that's why we didn't go for a loan deal for a CF.

Why not a loan deal?
You think he'll rejoin us this season at Jan?

That's ace tbf :))

Shows what people inside the game think of him. Having him back would upset the dressing room. People forget footballers have morals. Most anyway.

Scored another brace this weekend, that’s 5 goals in 3 games. Good on him. Shame it didn’t work out at United.

Yeah, fuck him. Also let's be real, he'd be shit for us. All decent to world class players are. The issues are deeper than the players. We're in the process of a massive cultural shift.

4 goals yesterday, he’ll end up at a top club next summer. His history will always follow him but I’m pleased he’s moved on with his life and hasn’t let the past ruin him.

We don't know if he has moved on. Has he got any support from male domestic abuse services to look at the reasons why he uses violence? Eg not being able to manage his emotions, being abused himsef. If not, he's probably still in the same behavioural patterns and will continue to use fear and violence to get what he wants. So then all this shit will come back when he inevitably does it again.

Who cares? Everyone seems to have moved on except United.
He seems to be doing fine, his wife seems to have moved on, days after the event, he's since had a kid and United fans are still outraged.
