Romano reporting that Roma are in advanced talks to sign Zirkzee. Personal terms agreed apparently.
Hojlund also doesn't want to come back.
It would leave us short on strikers

Ornstein is saying that Semenyo favours a move to City. No surprise there.
Yeah I don't understand the logic of selling Zirkzee mid season.. He can still do a job for us.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑1 month ago Romano reporting that Roma are in advanced talks to sign Zirkzee. Personal terms agreed apparently.

Aye, not surprising he said no to playing in defence for a mid table team while earning half what he could at a team that wins things.
You can spin it how you want, and be overly pessimistic. But united still have a draw. Carrington is now one of the top training grounds in the country. We have an unmatched global fanbase, turns your online profile into sponsors dreams over night.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑1 month agoAye, not surprising he said no to playing in defence for a mid table team while earning half what he could at a team that wins things.
116 charges, pep likely to leave sooner rather than later.
We've seen how city has worked for the likes of grealish, Calvin Philips etc etc, ask James Trafford how his dream move has turned out.
Old Trafford needs sorted, but the emptyhad can't compare even in OTs current state.
Hed likely get more minutes in the 11 at us.
Its not completely unrealistic a player would come. They can buy into a project, if its sold to them, and the legacy of United still counts.
Does all this mean hes going to sign for us, probably not, but I like to counter the negativity!

Fair enough, I like your positivity. I think Ratcliffe and co have brought some positivity and change. They've convinced some high end sponsors to shell out. Cos previously, the big companies were leaving us, sometimes mid-sponsorship.Jason wrote: ↑1 month agoYou can spin it how you want, and be overly pessimistic. But united still have a draw. The club needs to deliver though. It's all promises at the min. Same with the players.
I think the biggest issue for Semenyo would have been playing defence. That's where Amorim would play him. And as much as Ruben will have said "we're gonna dominate possession so you'll spend most of your time in the attacking third, not defence" - it's all promises. We don't actually have a midfield at the min to dominate the ball.
I realise I've responded by being negative
Not sure what we were planning to do with Semenyo, but some of the big journalists were reporting yesterday that United weren't planning to use him as a wing back.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑1 month agoFair enough, I like your positivity. I think we would have been a "nice to have." As you say, there are more pressing problems that need fixing.
At least there is money there to be spent.
He's definitely going to be a wing back. We're stacked in the wing/10 positions.sheesh wrote: ↑1 month agoNot sure what we were planning to do with Semenyo, but some of the big journalists were reporting yesterday that United weren't planning to use him as a wing back.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑1 month agoFair enough, I like your positivity. Napoli are making noises that they want to sign Hojlund. It would give us around 40m profit. Not sure how much is left on his deal and whether it would cover his overall cost. But if Zirkzee fucks off as well, we'll be in dire need of CFs.
We already are in dire need. Zirkzee isn't a CF, especially in Amorim's system. If we had a 10 and a couple of wingers getting into the box, he'd be workable here and there, but it's all too slow and lumbering.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑1 month ago Napoli are making noises that they want to sign Hojlund. It'd be great if we could bring in a Henrik Larsson or even an Ighalo again, but there aren't many options out there, and even fewer who would guarantee goals in Amorim's system
