Other Teams' Stuff
I actually thought the same. Still think it's wishful thinking, but there is definitely an opportunity.JoelfuckingGlazer wrote: ↑2 weeks ago A Klopp-less Liverpool, with Slot dug in.
A Pep-less City.
An average Arsenal side champions.
Get the summer right and we could actually have a title push in us. Needs a big summer.
The problem next season might be Cheslea. Alonso is a quality coach, they have a good squad that just has a couple of holes - but add a proper Keeper, Centre Back and Striker, and they could be a real threat,
Bring him back to replace Cassymeero

Over 1.5bn spent on players alone in 4 years. 747m spent in just two windows. Now that spending is catching up with them and they're in trouble. They're looking at a future of turmoil, massive debt and maybe even a forced sale. We know how painful that is.
The fantasy football experiment has failed. All the bellends who say sign 15 players in one window as if money is not real need to shut the fuck up now.

Como aka lake Como are gonna be in the CL next season
I was enjoying their ascent until it got a bit too good. When I looked they're being bankrolled by the two richest people in Italy. They invested 100m in one season on players completely destroying the opposition that don't have megabucks.
They're managing to get around Serie A's version of FFP but now UEFA will audit their books cos they're in the CL, so the success plateau.
Football needs to be fairer so these teams can ascend the league. Being doped by rich cunts is not the answer.

Not the same heights yet but there'll be a Bundesliga debutant next season - SC Elversberg. Saw they were doing well a few months back and thought it'd be a lovely story if they go up...Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑2 weeks ago Como aka lake Como are gonna be in the CL next season

Then I saw it's basically a Hoffenheim job, some cunt has invested millions and is planning a 30k seater stadium. They're currently in a 7k stadium and are essentially from a village on the outskirts of Saarbrücken.

It's the new thing to do if you're a rich cunt; invest in a small club and make em 'great'. Those hollywood twats at Wrexham have got a lot to answer for. Snoop Dogg, fucking Asap Rocky, all buying stakes in clubs they know fuck all about. It's just another investment and a chance to create some content.Felwin wrote: ↑2 weeks agoNot the same heights yet but there'll be a Bundesliga debutant next season - SC Elversberg. They're all banking on a massive increase in revenue and a squad cap like in NFL. Once spending is capped, the owners and investors can pocket the rest. There are probably enough americans / US private equity in the Prem to get a vote through.
