The way to beat Arsenal is to copy their tactics; low block, low risk, keep your shape and make breaking up play the focus. That way you cancel them out. After 75/80 mins they have to take risks and attack or they'll drop points. But they only have 10/15 mins to do so.

Agree with all of you. Shite that PSG have another but that's where we are. Like with City and Chelsea, it's all a result of cheating and dodgyness so will always be stained.
But happy Arsenal didn't win it. Winning big pots playing rugby in a shit league is one thing, but doing it to win th CL would've been a sad day for football.

It is. To the extent you can gauge it through the press, he's always seemed a genuinely nice bloke. Before my time as a player, but his Newcastle side were fabulous to watch and he had that ding dong couple of years with Fergie.

And yeah good point about his Newcastle side. Proper attacking. Years ago I heard an anecdote that summed them up. They were winning a game and absolutely going for it but only had a slender lead. So he went to the touchline and shouted at the fullback (forget who) to do some actual defending, and the fullback turned around and told him to fuck off haha.
But yeah, sad news. 75 doesn't seem old tbf

I might be getting this wrong but Liverpool hiring Iraola seems a bit seems a bit reactionary. He's flavour of the month, and doesn't seem like the perfect fit for that squad.
Given their shite signings recently, it's as if the brains behind the club are getting it wrong. Their DoF is new. But it's like they've got a new approach as well.
It all seems a bit United under the Glazers for me.
Common sense (and this might be wrong) says Alonso would have been the best choice. But they missed the boat by not being decisive enough and acting quickly.
