The club have revealed plans for a new fan zone. It's easy money. Lots of clubs are doing it to add new revenue. If built properly it can add millions to the coffers every year.

It goes to show how lazy and thick the Glazers were. We should have done this year's ago when it became a thing. They've left so much money on the table during a time of financial turmoil for the club.

Good move. Lots of clubs do it and create matchday income, it’s easy money and they can be pretty good. I’ve been in one at Birmingham City, who have about 4 dotted around the ground and it was very good. There’s one pub near their ground, which was a dump so they’ve utilised space and created an income stream. They had food trucks, bars, plenty of space both outside and under some cover and had Stephen Carr knocking around taking selfies with people and chatting.

I know it’s a start but one will be banged out early every game at Old Trafford. If they can find the space to do so, I hope they expand and open a few.
