Fuck sake.. meanwhile we have the Glazers.

They will have the funds to do whatever they want, and will be able to use them as they are well placed with revenues/fan base vs likes of Newcastle.

This will be a game changer.

Well that's fucking depressing. Bezos getting involved is a sign of the Prem's TV show-like appeal. This will make it worse. The Americanisation will get worse too.

30% seems like a tactical stake before a controlling stake of 51% IMO.

Amit Bhatia is leading the consortium. He has direct experience of football as he was a director at QPR. He's a trusted pair of hands for the likes of Bezos to sit in the shadows.

One interesting point is that the consortium contains 3 of the world's richest blokes. All of them are powerful individuals who will have their own idea of how to run a club. If even just a couple want to be directly involved, it won't work.

Citeh reportedly in talks with Chelsea for Fernandes, who has suddenly had a road to damascus moment and has wanted to play for Citeh ever since he was a kid and not dreamt about Real after all. Anyway, assuming Chelsea want upwards of £120m, Citeh will have spent a good part of £340m+ on midfielders this window. It's fucking bonkers. And yeh, football is dead.

City and their fans say they can spend this much cos the treble win brought in record revenues. But it must have been billions in order to spend this much. They're clearly still diddling the books, they will have just hidden the paper trail.
