Bruno Fernandes
Wouldn't surprise me if he was pissed off at always being the one who's supposed to make things happen in attack. He's very exposed and gets a lot of kicking, like last night. He probably realises he's exposed to a possible serious injury because he's always our main creative outlet. If we had a proper midfield he'd be less exposed and could probably be even more influential.

He's looked shite at the Euros. Even the Portugal manager has had enough of Bruno giving the ball away all the time!

Yeah he is weirdly shit for Portugal. Shows you how well we've done incorporating him.

Now I usually think that Merson talks a load of shite but he's bob on the money here - https://www.skysports.com/football/news ... aul-merson
Basically, the new Manager will have to build the team around Bruno regardless of what their philosophy/system is unless he has massive balls and tells the Board to fuck themselves.
Coutinho was Liverpool's best player but Klopp was more than happy to sell him so that he could play his system and the Liverpool board backed him. Won't happen with our bunch on inepts.

Totally. I'm not sure Bruno fits into a modern attacking system. He's ridiculously creative to the point where he gives the ball away a fuckload. And that doesn't seem good for a methodical attacking approach.
It seems he's more suited to being the main creative outlet in a solid defensive team - or a counterattacking one. If we play with a high line and a high press, we can't have a player that gives the ball away as much as he does right now because we'll get done.
The club should have decided who the new manager is going to be first, and then consulted them on which players to give new deals. But it looks like that hasn't happened again. Remember when Ed gave new deals to Smalling and Jones right before Ole came in and said fuck these players.

He had three years left on his contract, so it seems it could have waited a few months. But that’s not how United now works. He’s probably our most valuable asset, or at least the most valuable one who could be locked down for a some more years, compared to Pogba, Ron etc.
Plainly an unhappy player. He must be wondering if he's fucked up by extending his contract. But United kept on going in the Woodward style, offering a player too much money to turn down. Enough money to override their doubts. But the doubts come back pretty quick once you're on the pitch in front of supporters.
