Whilst my heart agrees with you, I think the world has changed. Football has never been as broad a church as it is now and the thing that makes money is having hubs of entertainment.

TBF I feel like a twat moaning too much because I've not been to OT since 2014 and I doubt I'll ever go again unless one of my kids suddenly get into football and care more about United than whatever German team they pick.

I'll be sad to see Old Trafford go but as George Harrison said "all things must pass".

I share your fears. Anything like the London stadium would be a disaster and nudge me further away from United and football.

With Old Trafford, I'm not sure it can be saved. A lot of that post war concrete has a 50 year life span. They can patch it up, like they do the schools and hospitals in the UK cos apparently the country is bankrupt, but ultimately a new one is gonna have to be built. It just needs to be good.

They're total shitblokes. This will get worse with the new stadium. A new ground means a clean slate and new rules. History is forgotten including the family that held the same seat for 30 years.
