Klopp's name cropping up wrt Chelsea. Wonder if he might be in the frame again?
Turned us down before and would probably not want to injure his reputation at the Dippers?

No chance Klopp comes here now. We fucked it massively by turning him off the idea before he went to the dippers. He'll go back to Liverpool in a couple of years, or sooner if Slot gets booted.

We need to be in for Emery. Can't fathom why he's not in the mix.

Welcome back bman.

I think a lot of us feel similarly. Since that Mainoo goal in the Final it's been pretty much shite the entire time. Nearly two years of miserable, dull crap, negativity, cuts etc.

I'm going to sit out the manager stuff. I just don't think any of us can call it anymore. Who the fuck knows who's actually good enough when we ruin virtually all the players and managers who come to us? I just want it to feel like supporting United again. Even if it's Big Ron or Oleball. Don't mind us being shite on occasion, as long as it's entertaining. Think that's a fairly achievable short term goal

Welcome, Bman.

Speaking of returns... I wonder if Rashford would consider a future at United again?

I think he might fancy it if Ole takes over again. Or another manager that plays better, attacking football.

Got me wondering if Hojlund might come back too. They both might not be shit under a new manager.

Think Hojlund is an obligation to buy with cl qualification.

Rashford is an option, but ball is in both other teams court.

I can't see Rashford wanting to come back. We have to move on.

Didn't realise Tuchel was only contracted with England till this summer. He could emerge as an option.

Looks like Amorim wanted to leave as much as United wanted to get rid

Fucking dumb appointment all around. The cunt never wanted to change, was never committed to change, it's 3 at the back & bullshit passing routines or he's out. I can't wait to see how that works at another club. He wouldn't last at City with that attitude.

Fletcher says he took Fergie's blessings for the interim interim manager role and that he does so before taking any major decision. He's already demonstrated that he's a massive pussy.

If you think about it, Fergie's players mostly seem subservient and timid. I suppose that's what made them great players because they were able to focus on getting better at their job. But that's part of their identity now and they've not grown out of it. Only Keane seems like the kind of guy who is strong enough to not tolerate bullshit and not engage in idol worship - he also seems like the most sensible of the lot.

What are you on about?

Robbo, Bruce, Hughes and Ince all became half-decent managers in their own right, partly through not taking any shit. Rio isn't afraid to be gobby in the media. Rooney is a fairly decent pundit who doesn't come across as timid whatsoever, quite the opposite. Evra, Giggs, Hargreaves, Butt, even quiet lad Scholes all speak their mind when you get to hear them (some of them we hear far too much from).

Your're basing this schtick on Ole being deferential to Fergie and now Fletcher having a conversation with him. It's obvious the media turn it into "Fletcher asks for SAF's blessings", like Fergie is the fucking Pope anointing him. It's just for clicks, mate. Put yourself in Fletcher's shoes. In a culture where ringing up old bosses and comrades is burnt in, wouldn't you give the greatest manager of all time a tinkle? A guy who trusted you in big games, made your CV amazing and stood by you and your family as your health and career fell apart? But no, apparently that makes him a massive pussy :))

Something we do agree on is Keano. I couldn't stand his gobbyness post United at first, but he is mostly right to demand more, and when he's wrong he's funny to listen to. He definitely likes playing the miserable twat with a wry smile, but there's a lot of substance to what he says too.
