Poor performance with a few missing but Sunderland have been very good at home this year, so I will take that. We’d have lost that 3-0 a year ago.
Next season is going to be a slog. I hope people know that or at least recognise that. We need about 8 players with Cas off and with other departures and just general necessity to strengthen the depth of the side. I’m not sure that amount of signings is particularly likely though, so I think we are going to have a real battle at times, especially backing up from Europe away at teams who are mid-table but good at home, like Sunderland are this year.

Yep, it's still another 2 summer windows for rebuild. We need 2, probably 3 CMs a centre and left back this summer. And we need both a quality wide forward and additional striker. We ain't getting both. Then another CB and right back. And backup keeper.
