Im dont support any Scottish team, so no real bias, I would have liked to see someone outside old firm to win it.dozer wrote: ↑4 weeks agoIt hit his hand but it wasn't a penalty. At first I wondered why his hand was in that odd position. I realised that the hearts player hand his hand raised sideways to jump but the celtic player jumping up pushed his hand up with his shoulders.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑4 weeks agoI saw that. It hit the players hand IMO. It glanced his hand as well as his head. I've seen endless replays and stills.Jason wrote: ↑4 weeks agoCorrection, celtic won the league because var made one of the worst decisions ever seen the other night, and robbed hearts a 1st title in 40 years!Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑4 weeks ago Tbf Celtic have just won the league cos VAR overturned a shite offside call from the linesman
The goal on the 87th minute was clearly on side but the daft cunt rules it out
It's one of those that people will debate endlessly. But I don't think there's a conspiracy to make Celtic win the league. They're always being hammered and banned by the authorities right up to the gov for chanting, bringing pyro, talking about the British genocide in Ireland and holding Palestian flags, god forbid.
It was an accidental handball. It wasn't one of the worse VAR decisions though. It's a mistake IMO but I can see why the simple minded refs concluded it was a foul quickly without taking more time to look at things.
But, i didnt see a single angle that showed it conclusively hit his hand, and yet VAR decided this was an obvious error.
Im also dubious how you can hand a ball so far back out of play, its.
I stand by my original quote, its one of the worst VAR calls, especially given the context and importance. It was never ever a pen. It one thing if the ref gives it on the pitch, and var decides not to overrule, but once they get involved and award it, no good!
