Nemanja Vidic has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, with Barcelona reportedly interested in the giant Serbian defender. It would be a huge loss to the team – and United is said to be preparing a huge pay rise for last season’s Player of the Year, which will take the Serb’s earnings to more than £100,000 per week.
But with persistent rumours that Vidic’s wife is unhappy in Manchester and pushing for a move to Europe, and the player’s agent apparently quoted in the Spanish press as saying his client “dreams” of a move to Camp Nou, should United stop the player leaving?

Possibly could let him go in two years as Evans seems
to be developing in to a world class player but would be a big blow if he left this season.Dont see him going though.
He’s not been the same player since Torres gave him the run-around last season …
We should sell for £30M plus …
if we get a good price for him, let him go. we’ve got evans and cathcart coming through who will both be exceptional centre halves.
What is it with footballers and their wives dictating where they should and shouldn’t play. It’s a short career, they can live wherever they want once his career is over.
Whilst it won’t happen this year — I imagine both, manager and player, understand the importance following the sale of Ronaldo and Tevez — this is a story that is bound to be revisited next summer. I think convincing Vidic to stay for one more season, to see how Evans (and other defenders) develop, is quite doable. If Fergie could convince Ronaldo to stay for two successive summers, anything is possible.
Not just “NO”-FUCK NO!!!!!
