Sir Alex Ferguson’s side faces an unpredictable trip north to Blackpool on Tuesday night, with Ian Holloway’s side notoriously durable opponents. Danni, the sad thing is that the midfield we put out there was given the complete run around. Anderson would have added more control and forced Blackpool on the back foot a bit more with his runs. He certainly would have held the ball a lot better than Fletcher.
I didn’t think even Berbatov would get us out of that situation as much as I have admired him this season. Glad to see that I was wrong about him. It was a massive call taking Rooney off. It’s not something you normally see Fergie do.

If when he comes on as a sub and he still does not score goals, he will have to be sold because he is not doing the job that he is being paid to do and that is to score goals. Danni, I don’t dispute the dippers and chavski have indeed been extremely poor this season, but they are starting to turn their form now. More than that, we have to go to the Dippers hellfield and play Chelski both home and away. They aren’t friendly fixtures at the best of times.
I hope we’ve turned a psychological corner with this game, in the sense that fuck going away, it doesn’t matter, because we are Manchester United. We don’t care where we play, because we bring the same quality, determination and grit to every single game.
