Wayne Rooney returned to the Manchester United line-up on Saturday, appearing as a second half substitute against Wigan Athletic. The 25-year-old striker got a mixed reception from the Old Trafford crowd after he blackmailed the club into a new contract last month. What feelings did Rooney’s return inspire in you?

Would the majority of you rather see Rooney at another club because his agent engineered a pay raise!? Sadly, this isn’t the 70’s anymore, these supremely talented athletes will go where the money is. with ambition being a close second. To believe otherwise is deluded. Don’t get me wrong, I wish they were all Paul Scholes…
Class act. Sir Wayne of Rooneyshire. Should be the captain for me, all day long. He’d sort out the tired the lame and the lazy.
I certainly didn’t applaud him, all though there were others around me who gave him a standing ovation when he came on (not to mention a few chants of “Rooney”).
Football fans are a fickle sort. There’s no doubt in my mind that the majority will forgive him when he starts scoring again – but I, for one, will never forget that this man tried to engineer a move away from the club, insulting the team-mates and the manager. He’s not a little boy anymore that we can excuse his petulant behaviour. He’s developed into a man child. He can never be a United legend.
What a ballsup his agent made, then I thought, how fookin thick are you Shrek?
Wish there was a button for no reaction at all. Just another employee of MUFC being subbed in.
i salute him, he said what we all know is the truth, we’re shit the squad is full of shit and the idea weve got any ambition left is fading
while he was out injured i bet the likes of rio vidic scholes and giggs looked round the rest of the squad after we’ve been dominated by the likes of west brom, sunderland, villa, bolton and wolves and thought, yeah, waynes spot on about this lot, dross
That’s all fine, if you believe what he said, represented his true motives…
But if he really felt that way… why did he change his mind, and sign, when it’s obvious, nothing has changed?
we’ll see by the summer if anythings changed whether or not weve had a clearout
although im still not ruling out wayne going himself
… and realised that the White Pele hadn’t scored bar a penno since 1947. As if they give a flying fuck about rooney.
well he said he got some assurances – and you can’t prove or disprove if that transpires into something real until Jan or better summer, so you better had wait.

Well who ever does’nt care can go and fuck themsens. He’s never give us less than the max, that can’t be said by half of the other tired cunts. We’d have been in the Euro disney with the fuckin dippers this season if it were’nt for his goals last season, don’t forget that. like it or fuckin lump it, he plays like a United player and thats fuckin good enough for me.
good for you
I think he took some bad advice. I did some stupid shit when I was 25, too. Thankfully, I wasn’t famous. Judging from some of the comments, some of you aren’t any brighter than Wayne.
I hope he gets his mojo back, gets over the injuries and starts having fun again.
And for the haters: yeah, we haven’t played great so far, but we’ve hung around. Check the standings. As soon as SAF gets things headed in the right direction, all will be well. Then, you can all find something new to cry about.

“I looked out and saw 30 blokes with their hoods up. I wasn’t going to invite them in for tea,” he recalled.
Lolololol
Heh heh, cunt
Like it or not having fans turn up to his house affected his decision to stay
Might not have been massive, but it was definitely there in the back of his mind
Didn’t the shithouse scouse smack runts make an effigy of stevie gezza and hung it outside his local pub and he saw it on way to sign the chelsea deal, which he didn’t?!
Gerrard should have signed for Chelsea
It’s a tragedy
