José vs Pep, Part XII
Another international week, another series of pointless World Cup qualifiers. Another crap England performance? Oh yeah! Injuries? You betchya! Players knackered after tens of thousands of miles on a plane. Sure thing! But at least there’s the derby to look forward to. Ed & Paul preview another José Mourinho vs Pep Guardiola content as United host City at Old Trafford. The Spaniard has the edge in the head-to-head record, but whose team has settled better into the new season?

This time guardiola can fail.
Great interview; nice to get a bit of the working class perspective on the show.
I don’t think qualifiers are pointless, unless you’re talking about England because, as sure as eggs are eggs, qualification leads to early elimination. Can’t wait for Jose’s first derby. Aguero won’t be playing but even if he was, Bailly is well-equipped to keep him quiet. What a great buy he’s turning out to be. Zlatan will relish this game given his history with Guardiola. I think we’ll beat them by the odd goal in three but as for it being a title decider? Maybe not but it’s a string marker.
