Money, It’s a Hit
New season, new hope! Well not if you’ve been following United’s IPO in New York this summer. But with Shinji Kagawa, Nick Powell and Robin van Persie joining* there’s plenty to talk about in the first show of the new season! Ed and Paul talk the summer transfer window, financial shenanigans in the Big Apple and tactics ahead of the new campaign. Have the acquisitions calmed frayed tempers in the stands, or did Sir Alex Ferguson take his battle with supporters one step too far?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!
Why did they bother to pretend that they were going to use all IPO funds for debt?
The pod isn’t up on itunes… been waiting for it since the championship review 🙁
Vishnu – I just don’t know. Some people have said they can see it on iTunes. It seems country specific.
We don’t need much of a defence against an Everton team that does not have a quality attack. They look like a team that will be fighting relegation most of the season.
We need to send the other teams an early message that we mean business this season. We need to put fear in the other teams. So this is my team playing 4:3:3.
DeGEA
RAFAEL VIDIC FERDINAND EVRA
VALENCIA KAGAWA NANI
ROONEY BERBATOV Van PERSIE
My prediction: EVERTON 2 MAN.UNITED 8
I will give Everton two goals if they are lucky, being this is an attacking team and their strikers are no threat to us.
My prediction…
We’ll mnever see a team that looks anything like that.
I don’t know which is less likely, that team or that score line. Lining up against the “dogs of war” without anyone that can tackle in midfield (Valencia stuck on the wing excepted) looks like madness.
More like
De Gea
Raphael Vidic Evans Evra
Valencia Carrick Scholes
Rooney RvP Kagawa
And 0-2.
I predict we’ll lose. And Fellaini will kick our ass.
Am I doing this right?
