United on Fire
As bonfire night approaches, in England at least, United’s season has finally sparked into life. There were fireworks at Old Trafford as David Moyes’ side came from behind to beat Stoke in the Premier League and then thrashed Norwich in the Capital One Cup. Have United finally found some much needed momentum? We discuss the performances of Adnan Januzaj: the Belgian-Kosovan teenager inspired United’s comeback win over Stoke and was the outstanding performer at ‘number 10’ against Norwich. Also on this week’s show:- we take your questions, discuss United’s defensive problems, and speculate about the upcoming transfer window. And finally, we look ahead to a busy week in which the Reds play Fulham at Craven Cottage and Real Sociedad at Anoeta.

😀
Our current form is actually very good on paper, yet nobody is admitting it. Man city, on the other hand, are only 2 points ahead of us and yet, according to every pundit in the land, they have the strongest squad in the league!!
Every time they write us off, they end up with egg on their faces. Same will happen this season. I’m not saying we will win the league, but the gap WILL close by the time May comes around and it will be a close run thing. Chelsea to pip us to it this season but I still tip us for 2nd.
League or FA Cup would be nice too 🙂 GGMU!!!!!

One-man team – they always struggle without Vincent Kompany who is beginning to look like a sick-note/perma-crock. Long may it continue.

Umm. Well…they’re not exactly playing the top teams you know. Le’t see if they can beat MC, Arsenal, Liverpool, heck…even Tottenham. Then you can talk about United on fire.
Essentially just based on a cheap gag about bonfire night 🙂
That’s pretty fucking stupid Joe. You might want to revisit your comment, and reassess the teams we’ve already played. Put your arrogance to the side for one minute, and stop trying to be a smartarse. It clearly doesn’t suit you.
