Stoke on a Cold Wet Wednesday Night
Yeah, Ashley, it was good goal but can you do it on a cold, wet Wednesday in Stoke?! Ed and Paul look back on a successful couple of matches for United. Victory on the road at Aston Villa in the Premier League and then at Stoke in the Capital One Cup. Three points in Birmingham bring United to within (just!) 10 of Arsenal in the league, while a cup semi-final against John O’Shea’s Sunderland beckons in January. We discuss the fall out from two far more positive United performances. We also take your questions and look ahead to United’s matches with West Ham United on Saturday and Hull City on Boxing Day!

On Clattenburg’s decision, you can’t play a match if you can’t see from one goal to the other, whether it’s rain, hail, snow or fog (or bad light even).
On Young, there was one cross that went to absolutely no one. The commentator said something like “he didn’t look up”. My God, a winger at one of the country’s top clubs (and an international) just lobs the ball into the box and hopes for the best. Just not good enough.
You’re right about that Januzaj chant – try and listen to this You Tube clip just once:

Impossible!!!
Also does anyone have the link on You Tube to the Berbatov tribute video which has “Candle in the Wind” by Elton John as the soundtrack? Features his 20 league goal season. Thanks.
