The Pod Slams Shut
On this week’s show we discuss Juan Mata’s debut in United’s victory over Cardiff at Old Trafford this week. An accomplished first appearance in a United shirt came as the Reds secured three vital points against the Welsh side. Yet, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s outfit rock bottom of the Premier League how exactly did the visitors outpass United in central midfield? Still, victory is a victory and manager David Moyes will also take comfort from the goalscoring return of Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney’s substitute appearance. Off the pitch United confirmed the departures of Fabio da Sila (permanently) and Wilfried Zaha (loan) to Cardiff, while speculation was high that Nani will be allowed to leave for Inter this winter. We take your questions, discuss the second half of the campaign and look forward to United’s trip to Stoke this weekend!

#unitedrant slams shut? You are stopping?
No, no way! Just a reference to the transfer window.
Hey lads, in order for your Google+ profile to grow one would need to know where to find it.
Somewhere in the googlesphere. If you google google plus United rant we should turn up.
Having dined at the head of the table for so long, there is a perverse excitement about scrapping for the leftovers.
I’m watching the under-18s derby on a stream of MUTV. At halftime, there was a preview of the senior side’s match in Stoke that featured a mini-interview with Moyes. After getting the question about the weather conditions out of the way, Stewart Gardner started to mention the fans excitement at the prospect of seeing RvP, Rooney, Mata, and Januzaj all playing together up front.
Before he could finish framing a question, however, an involuntary and negative sounding grunt escaped Moyes, who, smart enough to realize that this is indeed what we want to see, went on to answer the question by mentioning that Januzaj has played more than many thought he would, but, in his opinion, this was warranted by his skill… which, of course, was no answer at all, but I think his initial reaction tells us all we need to know.
Why isn’t rant cast in soundcloud? it Would have been awesome if you guys could put it in soundcloud as well.
