A Game Lasts 90 Minutes
On this week’s podcast, Ed & Paul look back on United’s 4-0 victory over QPR at Old Trafford. Was this the game to kick start United’s season? The joy was to last but a week, with United humiliated by Leicester City. How did Louis van Gaal’s side manage to ship five goals against a newly promoted side? There’s a discussion about Wayne Rooney. Where does the errant scouser fit into United’s side and is he proving to be a good captain? Finally, a look ahead to next week’s fixture with West Ham and your questions.

Have you seen Chicharitos two goals for Madrid guys
Off topic admittedly but one can be excused for doing so after this Sunday.
I look forward to when I can watch our games without holding my breath. And eat very well after.
Utd have fielded at least one first 11 without an academy player. I think O’Shea was a sub so in the matchday squad. Next week I expect someone like Fletcher will be on the bench. Actually, don’t Rafael and Januzaj count? They were bought but put in the academy.
Now is the winter of are discontent
Nice podcast guys. I too believe we are moving in the right direction. I hope we do finish in the top 4 though otherwise “the project” will no longer exist. Also who is your friend who was in SF. I live in SF and would like to watch a game with you guys when you are here in Cali.
Made glorious summer by this son of York. (I mean Di Maria, really)
Absolutely.
The quote from Richard III is often ill-used.
“Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious summer by this son of York;
And all the clouds that low’r’d upon our house
In the deep bosom of the ocean buried.”
It’s not about being in a winter of discontent. It’s about that winter being turned to summer because of the arrival of the new kid on the block.
For ‘this son of York’ read ‘this son of Rosario’, known also as ‘The Angel of The Morning’, shining brightly as dawn breaks on a fresh United horizon.
