The Season Starts Here
In the first show of the new season Ed & Paul look back on the summer’s transfer market, with Louis van Gaal securing five new players. Have all the holes in Van Gaal’s squad been fixed and who else might come before the transfer window shuts? There’s a review of the tour of the United States, in which United won three games, but lost the final match to PSG in Chicago. Finally, there’s a look ahead to United’s first fixture of the season against Tottenham next Saturday.

Iconic moment of the #Rantcast Paul’s “football’s back baby”.
Can you guys rate the players’ performances after the opening day of the season? Great first rant
Well done, fellas. Nice to have you back.
Blind as a central defender might work in europe where you have the likes Javi Mascherano and Javi Martinez both DM`s playing at the back to help keep the passing flow from back to front for Barca and Munchen while Madrid are lucky enough to have Ramos who can defend and play out from the back in equal measure, so this is why Van Gaal wants “a ball player first” in the center of defense, which is all well and good in most European games but in the Premier League will Blinds lack of both pace and physicality create more problems than solutions for us this season.
