Forever Dull
How dull is Louis van Gaal’s United side? Very, if the Reds’ scoreless draws against Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace in the past week are anything to go by. They were the second and third such draws in a joyless sequence. Mediocre results and a lack of entertainment has led to some unrest off the pitch, with United supporters enjoying a mini Paul Scholes inspired rebellion at Selhurst Park. Ed & Paul review the week’s games and ask the questions on everybody’s lips: will Van Gaal ever push for a more attacking outlook; and is Wayne Rooney’s time now up? There’s also a look ahead to United’s fixture against CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford, and West Brom’s visit at the weekend.

dozy derby followed by forever dull. The LvG factor, eh?
Yes!! Highlights of the week aren’t United matches, but RantCast with the lovely ,@UtdRantcast and of course @Teejsound : ) : )
4-2 vs. CSKA
2-0 vs. W’brom
I forgot to say: this was well-worth my night!!! If you would provide audio for commentating games, I would mute what I have here… maybe it would make LvG’s football flair-ful!!
boring boring boring United. But we stick through thick or thin. Fuck them yanks! #LUHG
United’s passing tempo is too slow and we have no pace up front. Liverpool beat Chelsea, and completely out played them, they did so by moving the ball quickly and by working hard coupled with excellent running off the ball (Coutinho was brilliant too – obviously ). If LVG won’t drop Rooney he has to move him back to no.10. The whole business of LVGs support for under fire Rooney is baffling. I have also (as others have) raised the question of Rooney having it written into his contract ref never missing.
“No one would be surprised if UTD won the next three games 3-0!” Really? I’ll be totally amazed based on current form.
Laugh out loud ref Klopp looking like a tramp living in Stanley Park. Classic.
Good end to the podcast, a bit of optimism.
allready listened to it. Recommended!
is this a world record for a podcast in mins discussing Rooney if not pretty close lads great listen as always ?
Great listen. Pedant alert. The BBC Salford City show is not about this season. The club is still in the FA Cup.
