Pretty Sh*tty City
Was José Mourinho’s side better or Swansea City the worst team United have faced this season? Either way the Reds gained three absolutely vital points in Wales, Zlatan Ibrahimovic two goals and Paul Pogba a worldie strike. For once, supporters went home happy! United’s win in Wales was in stark contrast to the performance at Fenerbahce, where the Reds put in one of the worst away performances in Europe since, well, the last one. Dearie me.

Wait, Is it hard for you Rant Cast chaps to acknowledge Wazza playing well. He was MOTM for me and as a whole we played better. Give credit where credit is due please and stop being hypocrites.
Easy there, Stretford. Rooney managed to control the ball and ran a bit. That doesn’t make him man of the match. That just means he’s remembered to control the ball and run a bit. Pogba, Carrick, and Ibra much more influential.
Was Rooney playing at the level of Hazard? Ozil? Silva? That’s the level to which he should be measured.
no he isn’t but he needs to start somewhere. Even if its against a Swansea side devoid of confidence. Its a start and instead of bashing the guy give him credit.
We said he played ok, which for me is about right. But let’s not characterise what we said on the pod as “bashing the guy” – that’s bullshit. How standards have fallen if a mostly anonymous but sometimes decent performance is suddenly man of the match stuff. He’s earning £300k a week. We should be getting a world class performance every week.
never been happier to have this to listen to today
But the same could be said for Ibra, Pogba, Smalling..hell the only consistent ones this season has been Valencia and Carrick. If Wayne had missed the sitters Ibra did he’d be on the plane to China now. Lets be fair. His performance wasn’t the greatest but lets give his some confidence with a little credit man.
