Selling Owen in January would be a great idea. United signed him on a free, so any transfer fee received would be a bonus (the Ginger Troll and his brood will like that), plus it removes an obstacle to the development of some of the younger strikers.
I think Owen might just be kept on to mentor Hernandez and provide experienced cover. His contract is up at the end of the season so he might go then. Depends what offers he gets, if United can keep him on a lesser contract they might.
