The Battle of Stampford Bridge
United beat Chelsea for the third time this season. How Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must wish his team could play the Blues every week. Ed & Paul look back on an eventful match, with VAR playing a very helpful hand in United’s victory.
Also on the show, a discussion about Ole’s role in the ongoing controversy surrounding Babacar Sarr; a tribute to the late Harry Gregg, a bone fide Manchester United hero; a look at Manchester City’s Euro ban; and a preview of the Europa League fixture with Club Brugge.
Includes an interview with Michael Psiaki, the designer of the new LEGO Old Trafford creator set. (We are not sponsored by LEGO, just love the set).
For backers: 20 minutes of relentless City-bashing.

Listen every week but there seems to be a bit of an anti-Ole agenda between the two of you. It’s fine that you have your bias, everyone does, but you ought to acknowledge it because it’s a strange insidious kind of feeling that’s present every episode.
We don’t normally pay much attention to people who accuse us of ‘bias’ and ‘agendas’ – it’s always nonsense. We discuss from week to week how United are doing, the structural issues facing the club and the performance of players and manager. But in this case, we’re both MASSIVE Ole fans. We’d love him to succeed. He’s just not.
Sure…
So «Ole out!» then?
