Ed and Dominic discuss Manchester United's slow movement in the transfer market, including ongoing negotiations for Bryan Mbeumo. There is a lot of frustration with the club's strategy, including the challenge of offloading players like Rashford, Sancho, and Garnacho, and its impact on United's preseason preparations. The conversation also ponders the tactical adjustments that may be needed if United cannot secure Mbeumo, to ensure a strong start to the Premier League season. With pre-season matches against starting this weekend, there's also a conversation about the role of youngsters in the squad. Finally, there's speculation about potential changes in United's goalkeeping department with Andre Onana injured.
